Grosse Ile families looking for an enriching, safe, and fun summer experience for their children will love the KE Camps summer program at Grosse Ile Golf & Country Club. Designed for kids aged 4 and up, this engaging day camp blends outdoor fun, learning, and community spirit in a secure country club setting.

Camp Schedule and Hours

  • Dates: Weekly sessions throughout Summer 2025

  • Days: Monday–Friday

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Drop-off: Starting at 8:30 AM

  • Pick-up: Until 4:00 PM

Each day kicks off with “Hello Camp,” a fun morning gathering with songs and schedule previews to energize the campers and set a positive tone.

Sports, Swimming, and Daily Fun

Campers enjoy a well-rounded schedule including:

  • Golf and tennis instruction

  • Daily swimming in the club pool

  • Arts & crafts

  • STEM challenges

  • Group games

  • Cooking and food activities

All activities are thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity, physical activity, and social connection.

Special Theme Days and Service Projects

🎉 Wacky Wednesdays

Campers love these themed days featuring activities like:

  • Under the Sea

  • Party in the USA

  • Camp Carnival

💛 Thankful Thursdays

Each Thursday, campers take part in community service activities that teach empathy and gratitude:

  • Birthday cards for the Confetti Foundation

  • Fundraising for Alex’s Lemonade Stand

  • Camp Kindness Challenge

  • Bricks of Recognition

Tuition, Registration, and Policies

Weekly Rates:
  • $350 for members

  • $390 for guests of members

  • Discounted Week of June 30: $295 (members), $330 (guests)

  • One-time Registration Fee: $45 (non-refundable, includes 2 camp shirts)

Campers must be 4 years old by their first day and fully potty-trained.
Non-members must be sponsored by a club member (no financial obligation required for sponsors).

Meals and Safety

  • Daily lunches provided (families may also send meals from home)

  • Afternoon snack included

  • Nut-aware policy (no nut products served by the camp)

What to Bring

Campers should wear their official camp shirt, comfy clothes, and tennis shoes. Pack a labeled bag with:

  • Swimsuit & towel

  • Sunscreen (spray preferred)

  • Water bottle

  • Golf clubs (required)

  • Tennis racquet (recommended)

  • Flotation vest for non-swimmers

To maintain an unplugged environment, no phones or electronics are allowed.
