Grosse Ile’s beloved Memorial Day 5K Race is back on May 26th, marking the unofficial start to summer with a meaningful community tradition. Now managed by Conz Productions, the 2025 race maintains the familiar charm of years past while introducing fresh updates to enhance the experience for runners and families alike.
The race will begin at Grosse Ile High School, with bib pickup starting at 7:00 AM. Runners can choose between a scenic 5K route or a more challenging 8K course, both winding through the picturesque island landscape. A free kids’ one-mile fun run ensures even the youngest athletes can get in on the action, though only adult registrants will receive official race shirts and medals.

Early bird registration runs through May 16, offering discounted pricing:

Race T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by May 11, and only early registrants will receive them. After that, supplies are not guaranteed, and anyone signing up within 5 days of the event may miss out on a finisher medal.
